Stuart Cantor attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and did his graduate work at Kent State University. He held a successful career in advertising as an award winning art director; and eventually as owner/president of Corporate Packaging, Inc. where he designed custom information packaging for Fortune 500 companies.
Today you will find him creating both compositions from his travels as well as portrait commissions. His style has been described as impressionist with the use of vibrant colors. He commonly sketches and uses photos that inspire him, then dissects the components and adds his own twist.
Paintings are primarily transparent watercolors on Arches Hot Press Watercolor Paper.
